Scott Janke is a native Long Islander, born and raised in Suffolk County. He began his career in Albany, where he worked as a legislative staffer and later as a healthcare lobbyist representing New York's hospitals. After nearly a decade in Albany, his deep understanding of government affairs and healthcare advocacy brought him back to Long Island, where he now serves as Director, Government & Community Affairs — Long Island for NYU Langone Health, a top ranked academic medical center in New York. In this role, Scott lead's NYULH's government and community affairs engagement on Long Island and advocates for the system's institutional objectives.

This year, Scott is stepping into the ring for the Long Island Fight for Charity. Scott lives in Patchogue with his wife, their son, and dog.
