Johnny “Old School” Ankelman (Hotaling Insurance Services) is a property casualty insurance broker with 25+ years’ experience.

He is a long-time member with IIABNY (Independent Insurance Agents of New York). Before entering the business world John studied business and received his BBA from Hofstra University.

Outside of Fight for Charity, John also supports charitable organizations including the John Thiessen Children’s Foundation, Kids for Kids (St. Jude Children’s Hospital) and Equity First Foundation.

After growing up in Levittown, he raised his four children in Mt. Sinai. He currently resides in Woodbury.
