Nicholas “The Beast” Milazzo, Jr. is a member of the Bridge Painter’s Union DC9/Local 806. This volunteer boxer also volunteered to paint the USS Intrepid aircraft carrier (now a museum) built during World War II for the United States Navy.
Nicholas is a Rockaway Beach resident who heard about Fight for Charity a few years ago. He went to a Main Event and was impressed. After seeing the matches from ringside he decided he wanted to get in the ring himself and volunteered to become a charity boxer.
“I wanted to pitch in and join others to give back to the community in a meaningful way. It’s a unique opportunity to work along side by side with a lot of people to raise money to make life better for adults and children who are struggling in one way or another,” said Nicholas.
