a good will attitude.
“I was actually looking online for information about volunteering for my teenage daughter when I became aware of Fight for Charity and the
community charities and causes it supports. There isn’t a better way
for me to be a ‘good’ example for my children. In addition to the three benefit charities, I am gloing to do my best to raise awareness and funds for a disease called Rapid-Onset Obesity with Hypothalamic Dysfunction, Hypoventilation and Autonomic Dysregulation (ROHHAD). ROHHAD Fight Inc funds research to combat this extremely rare disease, which I became aware of when one of my firm's attorney's daughters, Marisa Carney became afflicted with this syndrome in 2010," Rick said
Rick believes in the philosophy of “giving back” to the community. He serves as a pro-bono attorney and board member for teh St. Hugh St. Elizabeth Baseball and Softball League and has coached flag football, baseball, softball and boys and girls basketball and soccer.
As a professional, Rick is the chairman of the American Alliance Conference, a not-for-profit educational conference for unions. Rick is an alumni of Amherst College and Brooklyn Law School. He attends St. Cyril and Methodius Church and has three children, Nicolas, Dominique, Keith, and two stepchildren Nicolas and Anthony with his wife, Diane. Although they live in Dix Hills, he likes to point out he was born and raised in Brooklyn.
