A spirited entrepreneur, Matthew admits he is very competitve.  His coworkers call him “El Fuego,” which translates as "on fire."  And tha tis why he selected “El Fuego” as his boxer name.  Though a fitnest enthusiast, who has run marathons, Matthew predicts that “boxing one of  my peers in the Main Event will be an incredibly humbling experience.”

Boxing, as a sport, is new to him. He attended teh orientation seminar for Fight for Charity boxers last year and  decided then that 2015 would be the year he would volunteer to be a boxer.

“As a Fight for Charity boxer, I want to contribute my  time and energy to  support my neighbors, many with special needs. We are all one big family. It’s  important to me to help others in the same way that I would help my relatives,” he added.
