In the past, Filippo has participated in Tough Mudder, a hardcore 10- to 12-mile race event designed by British Special Forces to challenge the toughest of the tough. He keeps fit by running in marathons and 5Ks.
“I’d really like the chance to get into the ring with my adverary Matthew Galiano, who works in my office with me and is also a 2015 Fight for Charity boxer, but my opponent will likely be one of the other boxers,” Filippo reported. “This is an amazing opportunity to raise money and awareness for LI charities and promote Fat Guy Media.” Filippo has lost 40
pounds and is getting into tip-top shape. “I’m looking forward to the challenge. No one gets anywhere [in life] without pushing the boundaries.”
Filippo serves on the Board of Directors of the Long Island Elite. He resides in Franklin Square/Garden City area and is an active parishioner of St. Catherine of Sienna Church.
