Jamie “Superfly” Stuart decided he wanted to put his hands in boxing  gloves to raise funds for charity. Jamie is the Emmy Award - Winning full-time Weekend Sports Anchor/Weekday Sports Reporter on News 12 Long Island. No doubt he will not be camera-shy when he enters the ring and shows off his footwork and punches in the Main Event.

Since he was a little kid, Jamie enjoyed all sorts of sports, but he figured out  early on that he was not going to get into the big leagues. He shifted his  focus to talking about sports, and it became clear he had a natural talent
for reporting on sporting events.

When Jamie started training at Body Shot Boxing, in St. James, he began to  feel like a boxer. He hopes to be a champ for charity and help Fight for  Charity reach its fund-raising goal. He’s no stranger to good causes. He is
a supporter of the Lustgarden Foundation and its mission to find a cure for  pancreatic cancer.

Jamie and his wife Jeanine have two daughters, Gracie and Skylar, and reside in East Setauket.
