Anila Gjegji is a Paralegal/Legal Assistant at the Law Office of Jeffrey S.  Schwartz, LLC, in Woodbury. Jeff mentioned Long Island Fight for Charity on her first day at the firm and she immediately thought, “I can do this. I want to do this. I want to help. It is worth taking punches for a good cause – and more so when you give punches for a good cause.” Wasting not a minute, Anila signed up immediately to be one of the 2014 boxers. She picked “Flaka” as her boxer name, which means “beautiful from the inside

out.”

“It has been an amazing experience. I have a great trainer - Frank Pena at the Glen Cove Boxing Club - who has been working with me super hard. It will pay off in the end though. This has been one of the most amazing and heartfelt experiences of my life. It will be an event and a fight that I will never forget. I am excited, and ready to punch away to raise money for those in need,” she said.
