Scott Yamond of Locust Valley, NY is a 26 years old graduate of Adelphi University. At Adelphi he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management and a minor in Communications. He is currently a 4th grade Teacher’s Assistant and a Personal Trainer. Growing up he has always been athletic and into sports. He played football, basketball, baseball in high school, and then played club basketball in college. His knowledge and experience in athletics inspired him to study sports management in college and later to become a personal trainer.
“Changing people’s lives doing something that I love and know very well is my passion. Sports and fitness comes naturally to me and it is part of my life seven days a week. I enjoy weight training and I have a specific six day a week regimen that always include cardio,” said Scott.
He recalls being introduced to boxing about a year and a half ago and found it to be a life changing experience.
“Boxing came very quickly to me because my amazing trainers pushed me to do my best. I decided become a charity boxer to help out as well as to test my skills. I am very excited for this experience and look forward to November 19th,” he added.
