Donnie Blankenship a decorated Navy veteran with 10 years of active service, and resident of West Islip, and is a proud father of two children, Lindsey and Donnie Blankenship III.

Blankenship is an active member of the Travis Manion Foundation (TMF), an organization devoted to uniting and strengthening communities through leadership development. TMF creates programs and events that empower veterans and families of fallen service members, inspiring them to transmit their values to future generations and their communities.

Donnie further demonstrates a commitment to veterans' causes with his support of The Long Island Cares veterans program, to which he regularly contributes donations and support.
