Name: Nick “Booms” Russo
Hometown:Oakdale, NY
Occupation:Proudly working at Clear-Vu Lighting
Nick is stepping into this charity boxing event not only because he is having an early onset midlife crisis, but because he loves helping people. He don’t have a lot of money to donate himself — but he doesknow a whole bunch of people who would happily pay to see him get punched in the face. So here we are!
Last year, I was in the corner for my friend Rob “The Big Show” Madden, and the energy and positivity at the event were absolutely unforgettable. It was inspiring, and I knew I had to be part of it this time around.
This fight is personal too. It’s about growth. he believes pushing himself in this way will help me become a better version of himself, for the two most important people in his life: his wife and my daughter.
And to whoever he ends up facing in the ring — let’s keep it fun. But be warned… if you hit him too hard, you might just make an enemy out of a very tough little 4-year-old named Emma. You don’t want that kind of heat.
Let’s raise some money, throw some punches, and have an awesome time!
