“Media Maverick”

Theodore “The Media Maverick” Massillon is the Owner and Founder of Garden City based, NOM Media. NOM Media is a digital marketing and video production company that works with clients to enhance their online presence and create engaging visual content through social media marketing, content creation and email marketing. In his eight years of experience, Theodore’s work has been featured in prominent media outlets such as People Magazine, Food Network, Forbes Magazine, NBC news and The New York Times. Theodore has assisted clients to grow their brands to an audience of over 100,000 subscribers and helped businesses to triple their return on investment.

Massillon is also involved in professional business networking groups including Long Island Elite, Whooga and Business Networking International (BNI). Prior to starting NOM Media, Theodore was a project manager, having worked on multimillion-dollar construction projects for clients such as JPMC, The Federal Reserve, JFK, LGA and The New York Police Academy.

Theodore believes in the power of giving back to his community. As a business owner, he has a responsibility to use his skills and resources to make a positive difference in the lives of others. The Long Island Fight for Charity provides an incredible opportunity to challenge himself both physically and mentally while raising funds for local charities that are making a significant impact on Long Island.

Training and fighting in this year's Main Event is a way for Theodore to push his limits and step outside of his comfort zone. It is an opportunity to test his discipline, perseverance and mental toughness while supporting a cause that is much larger than himself. He is working to inspire others to find ways to give back and to never stop challenging themselves to grow and improve.

Theodore received his bachelor's degree in international marketing from The University of Texas at San Antionio. He currently resides in Fresh Meadow Queens with his family.
