Abe “Ace of Spade” Ahmed has had an “on again, off again” relationship with the sport of boxing for the last decade. When he became aware of Long Island Fight for Charity and its mission, he wanted to participate as
boxer in the 12th Main Event. He has spent hours at the Body Shot Gym in training with other volunteer boxers and plans to do his personal best when he meets his rival in the ring
“The principles that Fight for Charity stands for mesh with the principles I espouse. I will experience the luck of the ‘Ace of Spade’ when I hear the bell and get in the ring to face my opponent. I am eager to demonstrate my commitment to the charities that provide programs that help individuals and families in the community that need support,” said Abe.
