James Mantione, a resident of Bayside, is the owner of James Mantione Wealth Management / LPL Financial in Manhattan. He has always had a passion for boxing since Mohammed Ali and Larry Holmes were in the spotlight. Seeing an opportunity to raise money for autism and raise autism awareness, James had “No Excuses” for passing-up a unique way to volunteer and support a good cause.
His mind has been set on raising funds to help make this year’s Main Event a big success. He’s known for his charitable nature and his history of supporting Hands Across the Seas, Latin American Literacy and Give a Kid a Dream.
James, working evenings as a personal trainer at Body Shot Boxing gym, has concentrated on his boxing skills to be in shape to defeat his opponent. Working as a personal trainer in boxing and Cross-Fit training peaked James initial interest in boxing in the Fight for Charity. “I have dedicated myself to working out on a regular basis and I believe that when you have the right skills, they should be put to good use. The Fight for Charity gives me an excuse to raise money for a cause I am passionate about” said James.
