For Matthew Zotto, this fight is personal.

Born and raised on Long Island, Matthew "American Outlaw" Zotto is a proud Italian-American, U.S. Air Force veteran, logistics leader, husband, and soon-to-be father. He comes from a family where loyalty is everything, your word means something, and quitting is never an option.

Matthew served more than six years in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard as a transportation and logistics specialist, including service overseas in Japan. He coordinated the movement of military personnel, equipment, and critical cargo work that demanded precision, accountability, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Today, Matthew brings that same mission-first mentality to March NYC, where he oversees warehouse and logistics operations. He helps keep inventory, employees, orders, and deliveries moving while strengthening the systems behind the operation. In logistics, just like boxing, preparation matters, discipline matters, and excuses do not get the job done.

But Matthew's reason for stepping into the ring goes far beyond testing himself.

His father is battling frontotemporal dementia, a devastating disease that slowly takes away a person's behavior, communication, independence, and pieces of who they have always been. It is an opponent with no face, no rules, no rounds, and no final bell.

Matthew cannot take his father's place in that fight, but he can fight in his name.

Every early morning, every grueling training session, every punch taken, and every punch thrown carries a purpose. Matthew is fighting to honor the man who helped shape him, to stand with every family affected by dementia, and to show that even when life makes you feel powerless, you can still get up, plant your feet, and fight back.

When the bell rings, American Outlaw will represent his father, his family, March NYC, his military brothers and sisters, and the Long Island community that raised him.
